Hello. My 2 speed quickly is renovated in the engine.
When I Roll the bike it makes a tick Rick tick Sound, I found out it was the gear cable that needed to be adjusted more tense so that the gear in the engine would get more away from engagement 2. Gear. I was wondering how much it is normal to adjust the gear adjuster on the cable? I feel i have seen several quicklien where the adjuster screw on the gear cable is not that tight, but mine has to be adjusted a bit sp that i Can see 5-6 threads on the adjuster screw?
The problem came from one day to another which had me thinking if the tightness of the cable could have something to do with how I installed my new handles, if I maybe turn the gear handle a bit more forward on the handlebar maybe it would work out so that the cable adjustment screw dont need that much adjustment?
I hope someone can help me.
The engine is complete new, with bearings and new pinions etc.
